Cascadeur's API has a "call_action" method, which allows calling the commands included in the Main Menu.

Here's an example of a script that performs the "Undo" command from the "Edit" menu:

    app.get_action_manager().call_action("Scene.Undo")
run(scene)

As you can see, the user has to call the "call_action" method through the Action Manager and use a specific ID belonging to the needed action. To use the "call_action" method, you would need to know the action's ID.

Note

We plan to gradually remove this method's functionality in the future. Instead, the most utilised tools will be available in the API with an extended functionality.
