Retargeting (Settings)

This is a set of paramters for the Retargeting feature.

Retarget Fingers
If this is enabled, the retargeting algorithm is applied to the charcter's fingers; otherwise, fingers are ignored.
It is enabled by default.

Root Motion Correction
If this is enabled, the algorithm will correct the trajectory of the Center of Mass by minimizing movement of the centers of the Fulcrum Point groups.
If the original animation has unstable (i.e. moving by large distances) Fulcrum Points, it is recommended to disable this option. Otherwise, retargeting such an animation to another character might produce less than perfect results.
It is enabled by default.

Load Torch Model For Each Scene
If this is enabled, scripts for retargeting are re-loaded each time a new scene opens. Can be used to swap these scripts without restarting the program.
Enabling this option increases the scene loading time.
Disabled by default.
