All distances in Cascadeur are measured in Cascadeur units.
When you import a model or a scene, all measurements are converted into Cascadeur units in one to one proportion, regardless of what units are used in the imported files.
For example, if you have two characters:
• One 100 units high, where one equals one centimeter.
• Another one, also 100 unit high, but with one unit equal to one meter.
If you import these characters to Cascadeur, both characters will have the same height: 100 Cascadeur units.
The same units are used for physics calculations.
Freefall acceleration, for example, is measured in Cascadeur units per square second:

Connection between seconds and frames is defined by the Framerate parameter found under the FPS tab on the Scene Settings panel:
