Physics Updates

Swing motions (such as a character hanging from a climbing hold) are now supported.

Physics Corrector: now, characters are able to interact with each other (alpha version).

The Separation of Motion feature is now supported.

Physics Settings are now saved to the scene file (previously, they were reset upon re-opening the scene).

First/last velocity weight setting has been added (best works when turning off First/last position weight).

AutoPosing Updates

Improved behavior for top-level controllers.

AutoPosing can now work with several characters at once.

Animation Unbaking

Support for characters without AutoPosing rigs.

Now, animation is unbaked only on the selected Animation Track(s).

Blend Shapes

Cascadeur now supports Blend Shapes.

Note

For the new tools to correctly work with older scenes, you’ll need to:
1. Fix the scene by selecting File → Fix scene from the menu.
2. Update the rig by enabling the Rig Mode and then disabling it.

Other Updates

Improved Scene Linking Tool.

Optimized interpolation performance: now, interpolation is only calculated for the visible part of the Timeline, resulting in improved performance for long animations.

A tool for viewing Fulcrum Points without turning on AutoPhysics:

Setting Window can now be placed/used in layout (previously, it was always shown as a separate window).

Rigging tools now support colliders for Interacting with Environment.

An option to set non-integer FPS.

Commands menu: Menu items have been sorted into categories.

Toolbar: you can now turn different blocks on and off in Settings window → Toolbar.

Timeline input settings (now all inputs are customizable).

Audio playback now takes FPS and the Time Factor value into account.

Max used RAM limitation increased to 256 Gb.
