Import from Blender

Sometimes, models exported from Blender (in both FBX and Collada formats) end up looking like this:

This problem will be fixed in future releases. For now, however, it can be circumvented by following these steps:

1. In Blender, open the Scene Properties panel:

2. On the Units tab:

  • Set Unit Scale to 0.01
  • Set Length to Centimeters

3. Scale the armature 100 times

4. Use Apply Object Transform for both the armature and the mesh

5. Export with default settings

6. Now, impored model should work properly

Known Issues

  • The imported model appears too big in Cascadeur

During step 3, scale the model 10 times instead of 100.
