Cascadeur 2025.3 is now available, lifting your animation workflow to the next level by fully integrating Inbetweening interpolation and introducing Quadruped support for AutoPosing and Quick Rigging (Alpha). For the first time, we are also offering an early experimental build using Filament Renderer as a separate download – giving you a preview of Cascadeur’s future rendering capabilities!
Our showcase video walks you through the new animation workflow in Cascadeur 2025.3, showing the update’s major features in action:
What’s new in Cascadeur 2025.3?
- Reworked Inbetweening: Inbetweening has been fundamentally redesigned. It is now part of the Timeline Interpolation system, allowing you to combine Inbetweening and standard interpolation per animation track. Style settings can be adjusted directly from the Timeline context menu for a faster workflow.
- Quadruped Support (Alpha): AutoPosing and the Quick Rigging Tool now include support for four-legged characters.
- Rigging Improvements: Rigging Tool now has support for Twist and Untwist bones – especially useful for more complex rigs.
- Physics & Core Updates: Improved AutoPhysics interactions, angle limits for Ragdoll, better performance for long animations, enhanced GLB support, camera improvements and updated Linked Scene controls.
- Filament Renderer in Viewport (Alpha): A first preview of the new Filament Renderer is offered for download as a separate Windows-only installer. It introduces improved lighting, shadows, ambient occlusion and material-based rendering. Full integration is planned for Cascadeur 2026.1.
