If one of the following examples applies to you, you are entitled to use the free version of Cascadeur:

• You are a private person and want to use Cascadeur for non-commercial purposes, for example as a hobby animator, student or trainee
• You are self -employed and want to use Cascadeur for commercial purposes - and the income from this commercial activity did not exceed $ 100,000 in the past 12 months.
• You want to use Cascadeur as an employee of a company whose income did not exceed $ 100,000 in the past 12 months, for example as an "indie game developer" or start-up company.

A complete description of all persons, companies and institutions eligible for the free license can be found in section 1.4 of our EULA .

Please also note that according to Cascadeur's EULA you have to inform us of any subsequent changes to your user profile. For example, if you used Cascadeur for free during your studies and then started working as an employed or independent animator on a commercial project. Depending on the company's turnover, it could then be necessary for your employer to purchase a pro license for you.

We allow and encourage the use of the free version of Cascadeur by students and teachers for educational and training purposes. Nevertheless schools, universities, private academies or online schools must still respect the $ 100,000 annual turnover threshold of our EULA, up to which Cascadeur remains free of charge. Hence, if you plan to use Cascadeur for educational purpose in your academic institution and you don't have enough budget, please contact our sales team.

We offer two subscription types with different cancelation terms:
- The subscription with monthly payment can be canceled on a monthly basis. 
- The annual subscription can be canceled until 30 days before the end of the minimum term (of 12 months).  

If you don't cancel either subscription type within these terms, your subscription will be automatically renewed by another 1 or 12 months respectively.

You can send us a cancellation notification via e-Mail or by canceling your plan in your user account settings on our website.
A detailed explanation of your refund and cancellation rights can be found under clauses 7 and 9 of our EULA.

If you are acting as a consumer, you may cancel your subscription within 14 days after your purchase (as defined in clause 9.2 of our EULA).

We offer two subscription types:

• The annual subscription is automatically renewed for another year after the end of the year unless you cancel it in advance - at least 30 days before the end of the annual period.
• The monthly subscription is automatically renewed for another month unless you cancel it in advance - before the end of the month.

You can cancel your subscription with just a few mouse clicks in your customer account.
Alternatively, you can also inform us of your wish to cancel by email .
Please read paragraph 9 ff ("Term and Termination") of our EULA for further information on the subscription period and cancellation options.

During the early access phase, our shop system only supports the purchase of one single Cascadeur license per account. We are working on improving our license management system to enable you to purchase and manage multiple licenses in one user account.

If you would like to acquire licenses for several employees in your company, there are currently two options:

1. Either you have to create an individual user account for each employee and buy Cascadeur for each of these user accounts. You can simply specify a common company billing address for these licenses when completing the purchase.
2. If you need a large number of licenses, please contact our sales team . Our staff will assist you with the purchase and may offer you attractive volume discounts.

• The subscription with monthly payment can be canceled on a monthly basis and is therefore very flexible. However, with the monthly subscription you do not benefit from the conversion into a perpetual license, as with the annual subscription. You pay the license fee monthly in advance.
• The annual subscription offers a better price line ratio and the exclusive advantage that your subscription converts into a Perpetual License of Cascadeur after the minimum term of 12 months. With the annual subscription, you pay the license fee 12 months in advance.
