Cascadeur

You don't need to be online all the time. It's only required once - for the first authorisation. After that you can work offline. Please understand, if we wouldn't require a first login from every user, we wouldn't even know how many users are participating in our beta test. About the Forum: Its true! We are not happy with the current solution. That why we are already working on a new forum system, which uses the same login data as Cascadeur. Our best guess for the timing is ca. 3 months. "...is also idiotic and a big sign of amateurism." Come on, let's treat each other with courtesy and respect. ;)
Hey Tom, thanks for answering.
You don't need to be online all the time. It's only required once - for the first authorisation. After that you can work offline. Please understand, if we wouldn't require a first login from every user, we wouldn't even know how many users are participating in our beta test.
I do see your point, but that makes it impossible for beta testers to use the app when they have no internet connection. Instead, Cascadeur could just check for an internet connection when it's running and send the information you request when a connection is available. In my humble opinion, you would still get what you want and testers would be able to use the app whenever, wherever.
About the Forum: Its true! We are not happy with the current solution. I only mentioned it because I think it makes more sense from an analytics point of view.
"...is also idiotic and a big sign of amateurism." Come on, let's treat each other with courtesy and respect.
I'm sorry if you took offense, that was never my intention. It's just an expression. Courtesy and respect it is, 100%. Thanks. Good luck with your app.

I will forward your suggestion about the licence check to our development team. Of course we want to make the process as convenient as possible for the users, so suggestions like yours are always welcome. "Good luck with your app." Thank you, Culture! We hope that - apart from the login process - you like our software.
