The need to be online to run the app is idiotic and choking the app itself. (People should know better that internet connection isn't always present and even when it is, it is unreliable.) Not being able to use the cascadeur login data in the cascadeur forum is also idiotic and a big sign of amateurism.

You don't need to be online all the time. It's only required once - for the first authorisation. After that you can work offline. Please understand, if we wouldn't require a first login from every user, we wouldn't even know how many users are participating in our beta test. About the Forum: Its true! We are not happy with the current solution. That why we are already working on a new forum system, which uses the same login data as Cascadeur. Our best guess for the timing is ca. 3 months. Instead, Cascadeur could just check for an internet connection when it's running and send the information you request when a connection is available.
